Gerard de Roumare 
Gerard was born in 1040 in Roumare, Seine-Maritime, France. Gerard's father was Gerard de Abitot and his mother was Helisendis Unknown. His paternal grandfather was Gerard de Tancarville. He had three brothers named Ralph, Aumary and Raoul. He was the youngest of the four children.
