John de Morteyn 
John was born about 1258. John's father was John de Morteyn and his mother was Constance de Merston. His maternal grandparents were Ralph FitzJohn de Merston and Isabel de Clinton. He had two sisters named Agnes and Jane. He was the oldest of the three children.
