Doda was born in 0985 in Falaise, Calvados, France. Doda's father was Malcomb Mac Kenneth and her mother was Aelgifu ingen Sigurd. Her paternal grandparents were Cinead Mac Alpin and Unknown Leinster. She had a brother and two sisters, named Bethoc, Donada and Anleta. She was the second oldest of the four children.-
