Gunnora was born in 1169 in South Petherton, Somerset, Eng. Gunnora's father was Sir Ralph de Albini and her mother was Sibilla de Valoines. Her paternal grandparents were William D'Aubigny and Cicely Bigod. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Phillip, Ralph, John, Oliver, Matilda and Alice.
