Joseph Thurston 
Joseph was born on September 13th, 1637 in Dedham, Norfolk, MA. Joseph's father was John Thurston and his mother was Margaret Buck. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Thurston and Grace Utting; his maternal grandparents were William Buck and Margaret Good. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Benjamin, Daniel, Mary, Judith, Hannah and Deborah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 50 on July 9th, 1688 in Jamaica, Long Island, NY.-
