John Thurston 
John was born about 1635 in Wrentham, Suffolk, Eng. John's father was John Thurston and his mother was Margaret Buck. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Thurston and Grace Utting; his maternal grandparents were William Buck and Margaret Good. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, Benjamin, Daniel, Mary, Judith, Hannah and Deborah. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
