Sarah was born on January 11th, 1755 in Ashford, Windham Co, CT. Sarah's father was Philip Squire and her mother was Elisabeth Yeomans. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Squire and Elizabeth Fuller. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Ephraim, Philip, William, Josiah, Stephen, Mary, Allison, Ellener, Martha and Molly. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
