Pierce was born on June 4th, 1785 in Canaan, Columbia, NY. Pierce's father was Edward Aaron Squire and his mother was Mary Pierce. His paternal grandparents were Charles Squire and Mary Unknown ***. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ira, Orren, Charles, Sarah, Lyndia, Abigail and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on January 11th, 1861 in New Haven, Odwego, NY.-
