Ira was born on December 8th, 1790 in Lebanon, Madison, NY. Ira's father was Edward Aaron Squire and his mother was Mary Pierce. His paternal grandparents were Charles Squire and Mary Unknown ***. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Pierce, Orren, Charles, Sarah, Lyndia, Abigail and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 on October 7th, 1864 in Earlville, NY.-
