Alson Squire 
Alson was born on January 25th, 1784 in Farmington, CT. Alson's father was Saxton Squire and his mother was Sylvia Newell. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Squire and Ann Bishop. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Darus, Norman, Buckley, Newell, Albert, Sylvia, Fanny and Eliza. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on August 7th, 1869 in Bennington, VT.-
