Polly Woodruff was born in 1795. Polly Woodruff's father was Samuel Squier and her mother was Sarah Woodruff. Her paternal grandparents were Captain Nathaniel Squire and Mary Beach. She had a brother and six sisters, named Abner Abram, Betsey, Dorcas, Lydia, Sally, Electa and Nancy. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Samuel.-
