Lydia Shapland 
Lydia was born in 1840 in North Molton, Devon, Eng. Lydia's father was Edward Widlake Shapland and her mother was Ann (Nancy) Kingdon ***. Her paternal grandparents were William Shapland *** and Winifred Widlake ***. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Edward, Elizabeth, Winifred and Mary. She was the third youngest of the six children.
