Silas Mercer Parker

Silas Mercer was born on May 5th, 1804 in Bedford Co, TN. Silas Mercer's father was Elder Jonathan 'John' Parker and his mother was Sarah 'Sally' White. His paternal grandparents were Rev Nathaniel Parker and Ann Clayton; his maternal grandparents were Captain Benjamin White and Faith Oakman. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, John, Benjamin F., Isaac Duke, Joseph Allen, James W., Nathaniel, Abigail, Mary 'Molly', Phoebe, Rachel and Susannah. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 32 on May 19th, 1836 in Fort Parker, Limestone, TX.
