General John Clayton 
General John was born in 1665 in Parsons Green, Fulham, Middlesex, Engl. General John's father was Sir John Clayton and his mother was Alice Bowyer. His paternal grandparents were Sir Jasper Clayton and Mary Thompson; his maternal grandfather was Sir William Bowyer. He was an only child. He died at the age of 72 on November 18th, 1737 in Williamsburg, James City, VA.-
