Josiah was born on December 8th, 1651 in Windsor, Hartford, CT. Josiah's father was John Owen and his mother was Rebecca Wade. His paternal grandparents were Richard Owen and Johanna Pitt; his maternal grandparents were Robert Wade and Jemima Rebecca Unknown. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named George, John, John, Nathaniel, Daniel, Joseph, Benjamin, Obidiah, Isaac, Mary and Rebecca. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 70 on September 11th, 1722 in Windsor, Hartford, CT.-
