Betsy was born in 1808 in Devon, Eng. Betsy's father was John Muxworthy and her mother was Alice Parkin. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Muxworthy *** and Frances Davey ***; her maternal grandfather was William Parkin. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Frances.General Notes
