King William  I (The Lion of Scotland) was born in 1143 in Huntingdon, Scotland.  King William  I (The Lion of Scotland)'s father was Prince Hanry Mac Cinan.  His paternal grandparents were King David  I  (The Saint) of Scotland and Matilda of Northumberland.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 71 on December 4th, 1214 in Sterling, Scotland.
