William Fritts 
William was born in 1759 in Germany. William's father was Frederick Fritts and his mother was Cornelia Jewett. His paternal grandparents were Unknown Fritts *** and Widow Fritts ***; his maternal grandparents were Captain Joseph Jewett and Mary Hibbert. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Frederick, George, Morris, Mary Elizabeth and Catharine. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on April 10th, 1829.-
