Richard Courtenay 
Richard was born in 1382 in Powderham Castle, Devon, Eng. Richard's father was Sir Philip Courtenay and his mother was Anne Wake. His paternal grandparents were Hugh de Courtenay and Margaret de Bohun. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Sir John, William, Agnes and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the five children.
