Manuel Comnenus 
Manuel was born about 1048. Manuel's father was Emporer Joannis (John) Comnenus and his mother was Empress Anna Dalassena. His paternal grandfather was Manuel Comnenus; his maternal grandfather was Alexios Pharo the Patrician ***. He had two brothers and a sister, named King Isaac, Emporer Alexius I and Theodora. He was the oldest of the four children.
