German Burton

German was born in 1776 in Chesterfield Co, VA. German's father was Henry Burton and his mother was Anne Elam. His paternal grandparents were Charles Burton and Lovelady Franklin; his maternal grandfather was Gilbert Elam. He had a brother and four sisters, named Blackman, Elizabeth, Nancy, Judith and Katherine. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died about 1805.
