William Ballard 
William was born on September 8th, 1715 in York, VA. William's father was William Ballard and his mother was Philadelphia Lea. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Ballard and Alice Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Col William Lea and Mary Green. He was an only child. He died at the age of 78 on April 29th, 1794 in Bedford Co, VA.-
