Hezekiah was born in 1793 in Virginia.1 Hezekiah's father was Thomas Wiley and his mother was Jean "Jenny" Sellards. His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Hezekiah Sellards and Female Brevard. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Robert Bruce, Tommy, Adam Brevard, William "Billy", George, Vardey, Mary Jane, Sarah "Sally" and Elizabeth.-
