Robert Washington 
Robert was born in 1544 in Sulgrave, Northumberland, England. Robert's father was Lawrence Washington and his mother was Amy Pargiter. His paternal grandparents were John Washington and Margaret Kytson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Lawrence, Frances, Ann, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth and Barbara. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 on March 10th, 1619.
They had six sons and three daughters, named Lawrence, Robert, Christopher, Walter, William, Thomas, Anne Amy, Ursula and Elizabeth.
