Phillip was born on September 23rd, 1833 in Marion Co, Tn. Phillip's father was Isreal Washington Speegle and his mother was Susanna Bible. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Speegle and Priscilla Reed; his maternal grandfather was John Bible. He had three brothers and two sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Adam, George, Henry W., Teray Angeline, Avy Adeline Aray, Speegle and Speegle. He died in McLennan Co, Tx. He was buried in McLennan Co, Tx.General Notes
