Samuel Sellards 
Samuel was born about 1773 in Walker's Creek, Augusta County, Virginia. Samuel's father was Hezekiah Sellards and his mother was Female Brevard. His paternal grandparents were Peter John Sr. Sellards and <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather was John Brevard. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John W. Sr., Robert Bruce, Jean "Jenny" and Catherine Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died about 1835 in Lawrence County, Kentucky.-
