John W. Sr. Sellards

John W. Sr. was born about 1765 in Walkers Creek, VA.¹ John W. Sr.'s father was Hezekiah Sellards and his mother was Female Brevard. His paternal grandparents were Peter John Sr. Sellards and <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather was John Brevard. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Robert Bruce, Jean "Jenny" and Catherine Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died in December 1838 in Floyd County, KY. He was buried in Sellards Branch, KY.¹¹
