Marmaduke Ransom was born on November 12th, 1772 in Bertie Co., NC. Marmaduke Ransom's father was Thomas B Myers and his mother was Elizabeth Carney. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bartlett Myers and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Carney and Wright. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas B, David, Joshua, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He died at the age of 59 in 1831 in Anson Co., Nc.

Absolom Green was born on April 4th, 1796 in Wadesboro, Anson Co., Nc. He died at the age of 68 on September 3rd, 1864 in Byhalia Marshall, Desoto Co., Ms. He was buried in Myers Cemetary, Myers Rd, Byhalia.
