Absolom Green was born on April 4th, 1796 in Wadesboro, Anson Co., Nc. Absolom Green's father was Marmaduke Ransom Myers and his mother was Elizabeth Lowery. His paternal grandparents were Thomas B Myers and Elizabeth Carney. He had two brothers named Thomas and Stephen Carney. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 68 on September 3rd, 1864 in Byhalia Marshall, Desoto Co., Ms. He was buried in Myers Cemetary, Myers Rd, Byhalia.-
