A REPUBLIC AND HAD A GUN,DOG AND A SLAVE BOY NAMED NOBLE. HE WAS A SURVEYOR AND
LATER BECAME CHIEF JUDGE AND HELPED BUILD THE FIRST JAIL AND SET THE BOUNDARIES
FOR HENDERSON COUNTY. HE ALSO FOUGHT IN THE CREEK WAR OF 1836
