William Jackson Johnston 
William Jackson was born on July 30th, 1839. William Jackson's father was William Marion Johnston and his mother was Mary McDaniel. His paternal grandparents were Robert Dugan Johnston and Milday McKinney. He had three brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named JamesThomas Wynne, Robert P, Darling Lefait, Martha Ann Elizabeth, Milday Adeline, Sara Ann, Mary Evaline and infant. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 23 on September 17th, 1862 in Sharpsburg.-
