Stephen Drummer 
Stephen was born in 1599 in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England.1 Stephen's father was Thomas Plydrim Dummer and his mother was Joan. His paternal grandparents were John Plydren Dummer and Alice. Came in the ship Bevis from Southampton in 1638 with wife Alice
age 35 and child Jane aged 10, Dorothy 6, Richard 4, Thomas 2. The
Custom House List also credits him with 10 servants. Unhappy, returned
to England in 1647 where they died.
