Rebecca Naomi was born on October 17th, 1817 in Houndsfield, Ny. Rebecca Naomi's father was Horatio Johnson Cleveland and her mother was Cynthia Carley. Her paternal grandparents were Aaron Porter Cleveland and Permelia Warren; her maternal grandparents were Quartus G Carley and Rebecca Smedley. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Henry Porter, Sylvester Johnson, Charles Josiah, Salmon Carley, Eugene Frances Marion, Friend William, Iantha Porter, Sally Maria, Lucinda Jane, Lorinda, Emeline Pamelia and Cynthia Althea. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 34 in 1851 in Lagrange, Fayette Co, Tx.General Notes
