Pearl Amanda was born on March 2nd, 1915 in Rye Gate,Montana. Pearl Amanda's father was Oscar Palmer Guthu and her mother was Sylvia Ruth (G.G.) Harrington. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Peder Guthu and Hellen Bennett; her maternal grandparents were Orlando Mayne Harrington and Amanda Mahala Ray. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence Orlando, Leonard Oscar, Hal, Dot and Helen Ruth. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 74 on February 12th, 1990 in SanLeandro,California. She was buried in Fir Hill Cemetery,Sandy,Clackamas,Oregon.General Notes
