John Roper 
John was born about 1453 in Of Well Hall, Eltham, Kent, England.1 John's father was John Roper and his mother was Margery Tattersall. His maternal grandparents were John Tattersall and Agnes Chichele. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Robert and Margery. He was the youngest of the four children.
