Columbus Matthew Luttrell

Columbus Matthew was born on May 26th, 1859 in Lincoln, TN.¹   Columbus Matthew's father was David Anderson Luttrell and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Blackwell.  His paternal grandparents were Vincent Luttrell and Sarah Benson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Eugene, John D., Lawson Lee, Rufus Franklin, Walter Johnson, Charlie Newton, Virginia Ann <Jenny> and Mary LouElla.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 75 on December 13th, 1934 in Claude, Armstrong, TX.  He was buried in Claude Cem, Armstrong, TX.^1 1
