[See generation 25 found on page 81 of "Der Blumenbaum" Vol. 12 #2]. In the research process, he had learned that the queen was a progeny also of Ferdinand III. The Colonel wrote to the Queen to tell her about an additional connection between her and the city she was to visit; namely that a distant of hers had helped settle the city of San Antonio. The Colonel received a reply of thanks from the Royal Archivist enclosed a copy of the appropriate lineage of Queen Elizabeth II --through Ferdinand III of Spain, through Charlemagne, and on back to Mark Antony.
