Enoch II Grubbs 
Enoch II was born on April 1st, 1781 in Camden, Fairfield District, South Carolina.1 Enoch II's father was Enoch I Grubbs and his mother was Florid K. Burton. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas Grubbs. He was an only child. He died at the age of 63 on December 19th, 1844 in Chester Creek, Fairfield District, South Carolina. WFT Vol 5, Tree 3742: His will was probated January 30, 1845. They
lived in the Chester District, South Carolina just a few miles from the
Fairfield District line and attended the Beaver Creek Baptist Church.
Enoch owned property on Martin's Branch waters of Sandy River.
WFT Vol 5, Tree 3742: Enoch Grubbs had received 50 acres of the
Richardson Tract of land, two slaves, and other items mentioned by name
in his father's will. Enoch and Rhoda evidently lived in Chester
District, South Carolina for it is mentioned in a legal document that the
will was read at Beaver Creek Baptist Church "just a few miles over the
line into Fairfield District."
