The Greene pedigree is under research and construction, an d should be
considered highly speculative at this point. El izabeth's surname is
thought to have been Green, since Jean e Green, her probable mother, made
a bequest in her will t o Elizabeth's son Henry. Although Jeane's will is
badly dam aged, Henry's bequest seems to appear in a section of the w ill
leaving bequests to various grandchildren. She is menti oned in Lower
Norfolk County, VA, deed records: Jun 1669 - - Deed Bk E, p 51. "I Henry
Culpepper do ordaine & make m y loving wife ELIZABETH my attorney to...."
