Roger was born in 1116 in TUNBRIDGE CASTLE, ENG.1 Roger's father was Richard Clare and his mother was Adeliza Meschines. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Clare and Adeliza Cleremont; his maternal grandparents were Ranulph Meschines and Lucia Taillebois. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 in 1173.1 -
