Ransom Capell 
Ransom was born on October 7th, 1743 in Southhampton, Southampton County, Virgina.1 Ransom's father was Thomas Capell and his mother was Ann Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Algernon Capell and Mary Bentinck. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Edward, William, John, Thomas, Sterling, Charles, Mary, Sarah, Anjalina and Ann. He died at the age of 42 in 1785.1 -
