Mary Patton 
Mary was born on September 6th, 1829 in Haywood County, North Carolina, USA.1 Mary's father was James Patton and her mother was Mary P. Janes. She was an only child. She died at the age of 71 on April 3rd, 1901 in Hood County, Texas, USA.2 
‌Mary and John Hamilton were married in a religious ceremony on September 20th, 1849 in Haywood, NC.3 They had seven sons and three daughters, named Carey Pendleton, James Tecumschie, Robert Graves, John Patton, Cadmus LeRoy, Leslie Blaine, Francis, Sarah E., Bevly Memphis Memminger and Geneva.
