Samuel Pearce Hooper 
Samuel Pearce was born in 1827 in Roche.1 Samuel Pearce's father was Robert Hooper and his mother was Wife Pearce. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hooper and Mary Tucker; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Pearce and Margaret Dyer. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James Pearce, Joseph, Mary, Mary Ann and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the six children. He was buried on June 30th, 1909.1 
‌Samuel Pearce and Amy were married in a religious ceremony on January 4th, 1851 in Roche.1 They had six sons and four daughters, named Thomas Francis, Robert, Samuel, Richard, Guy Francis, Hart, Mary Ann, Emelyn Jane, Kate and Daughter Francis.
