James Griffith 
James was born about 1867 in Barrow In Furness. James' father was James Griffith and his mother was Sarah Child. His maternal grandparents were John Child and Mrs. Sarah Child. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Samuel Griffith, Ruth, Elizabeth, Sarah Anne, Anne, Mary Anne, Jane and Agnes. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joseph and Ada. He died in 1878 in 4 Lyon Street, Barrow.General Notes
