Julia Alice was born on May 15th, 1900 in San Pablo, Contra Costa County, California.1 Julia Alice's father was John Amaral Fray Ferreira and her mother was Julia Matilda Cornell. Her paternal grandparents were Francisco Amaral Ferreira and Maria de Gloria Serpa; her maternal grandparents were Peter Morris Cornell and Margaret E. Kelley. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John Elmer, George Albert, Frank A., Augustine C., Harold A., Rosa Lucida, Cecilia Margaret and Veronica Alma. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 82 on August 20th, 1982 in Agnos, Arkansas. She was buried in August 1982 in Merced, Merced County, California.1 1 -
