Armand Rene's father was Joseph Fallu and his mother was Leocadie Leblanc.  His paternal grandparents were Lazare Fallu and Tatienne Landry. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Arsene, Leandre, Leopold, Marcel, Roland, Emerentienne, Lea, Marie-Ange and Marie-Jeanne.
