James M. Estes 
James M. was born on May 2nd, 1798 in , Lincoln County, Kentucky.1 James M.'s father was Abraham Estes and his mother was Margaret Mccormack. His paternal grandparents were John Estes and Elizabeth Chisum. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the four children.
