Elliot Estes 
Elliot was born in 1795 in Caroline County, Virginia.1 Elliot's father was Jonathan Estes and his mother was Sarah Chewning. His paternal grandparents were Philip Estes and Ann possibly Harris. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, William, Fauntley, Samuel, Elizabeth, Emily and Harriett. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 54 in 1849.1 -
