Louise's father was Albert Von Saxe-Coburg-Gotha Of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and her mother was Victoria Hanover. Her maternal grandparents were Duke Edward Hanover Of Kent and Victoria Von Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Leopold, Alfred, Arthur, Edward VII, Victoria, Alice, Beatrice and Helena.
