Louis Leflau (LeFlore, LeFleur) 
Louis was born on June 28th, 1762 in St Emanuel Street,Mobile,Mobile Parish. Louis' father was Jean Baptiste Leflore and his mother was Marie Jeanne Girard. His paternal grandparents were Jacques LeFlau and Magdelene Vichet Riche; his maternal grandparents were Jean Girard De St. Jean and Marie Ann Danniau. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jean Claude, Jean Franoise, Jean Bertrand, Jean Pierre, Michael, Marie Anne, Marquerite, Louisa and Marie Francoise. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Louis, Mathais, Marie Louise, Gabriel and Jeanne. He died about 1833 in Hot Springs,Arkansas Territory.General Notes

December 15, 1831: Mr. Plummer presented a petition of Lewis Leflore, a warrior of the Choctaw nation of Indians, praying permission to locate the lands reserved for his benefit, by the late treaty with the Choctaw nation, in quarter section tracts; which petition was referred to the Committee on the Public Lands.H.R. December 27, 1831: Ordered, That the Committee on the Public Lands be discharged from the further consideration of the several cases of Lewis Leflore, Thomas Keats, Robert M.
